A Windows desktop app that gets your cards into the system (scan or CSV), lets you tag condition fast, prices everything off live market medians with one margin dial, and lists/syncs to your own eBay and Shopify accounts.
What games does it support?
Magic: The Gathering. Card identification, price sources, and bulk-value rules are all built specifically for MTG singles — it's what we sell ourselves.
How does card identification work?
Scanned cards are read by name and matched against the card database. Anything the scanner can't confidently identify is flagged for you to fix — never silently dropped or guessed.
Does it grade my cards automatically?
No, on purpose. You tag NM / LP / MP yourself in a fast multi-select grid. Automated condition grading isn't reliable enough to price your inventory with, so we don't pretend otherwise.
How does pricing work?
Each card gets its own live market median (Scryfall market + Card Kingdom retail). You set one catalog-wide margin; the app computes every card's price from its own median, enforces a $1-net-profit floor (held and flagged, never force-listed at a loss), and auto-routes sub-$0.50 bulk into bulk-box lots.
Your data & your money
Does C Sort touch my sales money?
Never. Sales settle directly between you and eBay/Shopify's own payment systems. C Sort never sees your customers' payments or your proceeds. The $25/mo subscription is the only money it handles.
Where does my inventory live?
In a local database on your own PC. If the machine dies, your inventory is rebuildable from your live platform listings.
What can C Sort do to my seller accounts?
Only what you authorize through eBay/Shopify's standard consent screens, via revocable access — you can cut it off anytime from your own account settings, no action needed on our end.
Hardware
What do I need to run it?
Any Windows PC. That's it — CSV import and normal printing work with nothing else attached.
What about a scanner and label printer?
Optional, but they're where the speed is: a document scanner feeds cards in hands-free, and a thermal label printer (like a Zebra) turns eBay/Shopify's label file into a clean 4×6 with one drag-and-drop.
Platforms
Which platforms does it list to?
eBay and Shopify — both included in the one tier, no per-platform pricing.
Whose listings are they?
Yours. Your seller account, your store, your reputation, your customer relationships. C Sort is the automation behind them, not a marketplace or middleman.
Do I need developer accounts or API keys?
No. You sign in once through the platforms' standard consent screens — no keys to create or paste.
Billing
How much is it?
$25/mo — or $270/yr (10% off) — one tier, everything included: up to 50,000 new listings a month, with inventory sync and price updates unlimited. The prerelease price is the launch price — see pricing.
Windows says “Windows protected your PC” on first run — is that normal?
Yes — completely normal for new software. That's Windows SmartScreen double-checking a program it hasn't seen many times yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. It only happens on the first launch, and C Sort is exactly the file you downloaded from this site.
What does preordering get me?
The app unlocks for your account at launch (August 1, 2026), and your second month is free — applied automatically after your first payment.
How do payments work?
Through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
How do I cancel?
Anytime; it takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
$25/mo
Prerelease price = launch price. One tier, both platforms, cancel anytime.
